Objectives
To show that people in the world are different and we all have our traditions. To show children that there is more world than just their home country. Aim is to raise the awareness about the word before going deeper.
We want to know how much they know about the other countries and their traditions.
Short Description
Ring game, where everybody in classroom can be a part of it. They can find out about different traditions in different countries.
Moment #1
Students are in the circle. We give them a ball and while they are throwing it, they say a name of country that they know.
Moment #2
Then we write different traditions into paper (in English and in Portuguese). We give a paper to a student who reads it aloud and then they have to guess in which country the tradition comes from. Then a student who has a right answer reads the next tradition etc.
Moment #3
We discuss what is their opinion about other countries and traditions. How they feel about cultural differences?
